And there was a "Not the Cow Level" event...but I can't play Diablo III...so same boat.

Essentially, there were rumors of a Cow Level in Diablo as there were cow models in the game that did nothing but add an aesthetic. So, in Diablo II, the programmers made a ridiculous secret cow level after being pestered by fans over it. xD

Similar things include the Neverwinter Nights Chicken Meteor spell, the Elder Scrolls Wabbajack, and other things.
