p.s washington has minimum wage of 9.47 bust most places (not fast food) tend to start people off at around 10.
and you can get a 2 bedroom apartment as low as 650(thats not scummy), but since she has ssi (though when you move you should preapply to ssi in that satate...benefits don't roll state to state unfortunately) she can get lower rent down to 450 or even 300.
