Akira gives her a reassuring smile. "You don't have to apologize," he says. "I wasn't startled, just mildly surprised. And if we resort to using flint, we won't get our meals cooked half as fast. And I don't think your stomach will agree with that." His smile is now a teasing one.

"I actually tried using other styles before," he reminisces. "But they didn't work out for me. So I only use minor techniques in anything other than fire, and only when it's necessary." He looks at Yusa. "You're pretty good at it, I must say."
