Oh wow! So many replies in a welcome thread! It's the first time I've seen over ~2 in less than a day :'D!
As for the eyes, I think I'm not used to seeing the particular eye-shape or something. I'm fine having one dark eye to the left of the character, but something irks me when I put two.

Edit: I'm not sure about the double=posting rules so I'll just put an edit ^_^'
