You should read 'The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls' (the thing the album AND the asylum in our RP is based on!) It gives an awfully stark side-by-side comparison of modern mental health hospitals and Victorian era asylums. Emilie's experience in the mental hospital was uncomfortably similar to my own - probably everyone else's, too.
