It's not a race issue... it's a "I expected unnatural skin colours" issue.
A diversity issue. A CREATIVITY issue.

I wanted a sweetie with skin as rich as midnight... but i got basic Japanese flesh tone. *deep mournful sigh*

I boycotted the anime because I knew I'd just get more upset with each episode.
