The skeleton drummed its bony fingers against the desk, and Gallagher wondered if a frown would have graced its lips, had the creature had any.

“Are you sure?”

“Positive!”

And so it was that Gallagher entered into a fake relationship with a skeleton (a very nice looking skeleton, with a great personality, thank you) in order to gain the attention of the skeleton’s crush. One Mr. Funny Bones. Gallagher went all out for this endeavor. Going so far as to apply fake blood on their skin, rip holes in perfectly good pants, and even write a love letter.

With any luck Mr. Funny would notice the before mention skeleton, get jealous, steal her away, and ride off in a ghostly carriage with her while Gallagher wondered if perhaps applying false cuts with super glue had been the wrong idea.
