"I say, um...is this...usual? Is this how combat and interaction usually takes place among adventuring parties? Honestly I thought it was all knights and dragons and honor and swords and whatnot. This is really, erm...an experience."

He sighed, feeling a little let down.

"This will be saddening to write in my diary."
