Hats! *checks to see if I has hats for the Tritter*
Wow... dwarves as the horsemen? This surprises me much!

Oh yeah. I read several of those when I was a kid. Think it was the base story about the friends, up to where Raistlen(sp) decided to go black. I thought Tasslefoot was a hoot. The one where he wound up on the moon had some utter hilarity in it.

Oh yeah. I've read... three 'Dune' books, I think. The first one, the one where the twins were born, and the one where the brother of the twins met his final fate.

But yeah. I bought 'Nausicaa'. I'm not even a manga reader. I mean, I bought the last book of the new 'Atom' series, and was happy with that much of the story. And 'Nausicaa' is bloody, and weird, but the way the author writes... It's a compelling story for me. And like Law said. Other worlds. One of the mild autistic symptoms that I have that has manifested from early childhood is a love of the pattern of "differents". So worlds that really use the imagination catch me. I'm told that in my own writing that world building is supposed to be my strength.
I AM still working on buying all of the 'Tommy and Tuppence' books from Agatha Christie. And I was trying to buy all of the 'Oz' books, but I wanted them to match, and two of the books went out of print before I could get them, so now the books that I did get are shoved away somewhere and forgotten.
Mind you, I think part of the not wanting to read a long series is my need to own the books, and my not having space. Though I have got a KOBO now, and find it enjoyable to read from too.
I'm not very active right now, because of stuff. If you don't see me around and you really need to get hold of me, you can yell at me over at one of these places?
