Kaerwyn starts of rather dark...stays that way, but is of a similar vein. There's an order who just about hunts "Kaetif"...like a TwoKinds Horror/Trauma comic. Essentially a mad mage is trying to rid the world of humans who killed his love...a thief who resembles the dead love stumbles on him...is cursed to be "Kaetif" and immortal...and goes through all kinds of hell to survive while things escalate into war...it's not pretty, but does show how vile people can be regardless of their ideals...

The Second and Third parts are dark, but in a less physical and morally ambiguous sort of way. It's more of a "world between worlds under attack by an evil cult of werewolves"
