Akira looks up at Yusa, a little startled at being disturbed from his thoughts so suddenly (or at least, it feels sudden to him). "O- oh no, that's fine," he says. "You don't have to pay for it." He gets up and pays for the ramen before going back to her.

"All right," he says. "We should get going. Your father said I had to get you there in the morning, which doesn't give us much time." His face is a bit serious as he remembers her request to stay at the gate, whatever happens.
