I also liked the scene where Usagi and her mom are shoving each other around and laughing, and Usagi's telling Amee "Save me!" and Amee's got NO clue what's going on.

More than likely, it's spelled Ami. Japanese's base vowels are the same sounds as Spanish base vowels: "Ah" "Ey" "Ee" "Ooh" "Ooo". *bit of a language nerd*
I use She/Her and They/Them pronouns.
