If I remember from the manga doesn't Beryl revive the Earth Kingdom Knights? Right before the final battle? I might have to go read it again but I think she or Mamoru does. Since he remembers them being his followers. Not to mention Kunzite figures out who he is right around the time Venus shows up in the manga. He gets his memories back, I'm pretty sure.
