This chick is one of my oldest and dearest friends. We've known each other for over 14 years, she's like a sister to me. :) We only really talk maybe once or twice a year, at least until this year, but we've always been able to pick up where we left off. If I remember correctly, the friend I was talking to you about I was finally able to get in touch with, and she's doing pretty well.
I'm trying to think of how to explain it... It was before the Duct tape sheets had come out, but think of those with a Trapperkeeper insert inside the back sleeve... I'm really not doing it any justice... ... ... :/ Sorry...
And yeah... she took some of my stuff, I kept some of her stuff, but there aren't really any hard feelings, lol. We're still in contact and regularly talk about exchanging various hostages (kept items). XD
That's about how we are... Last year my son had pneumonia, so he couldn't go trick-or-treating, so we put decorations on the doors inside, and everybody stood behind a door with a little candy so he could partially t-o-t. This year my mom's going to be taking us to the Mall in my old neck of the woods so the kids can get candy there (it's my daughter's first time t-o-t-ing so I'm nervous about how she's gonna do. She's quite anti-social, and really does NOT take kindly to strangers), then we're going to my great-grandmother's house so I can sit with her while my mom and hubs take the kids t-o-t-ing in my old neighborhood. We have a full day ahead of us tomorrow, lol. But oddly enough, we haven't decorated the house. We have a big pumpkin that I don't have the right utensils to carve, and 3 speckled gourds/mini-pumpkins sitting in the kitchen.
OH, and Saturday, we'll be heading to my aunts to spend the rest of the weekend to celebrate her husband's 50th birthday. XD This weekend is gonna be super hectic! XD *dies*
