Well, I do suffer from clinical depression, as has been noted elsewhere. I talked to a friend last night.

Summation of current state: Good ideas, but a lack of belief that I can (or deserve) to follow through with them. The assumption that "I'm not good enough to draw folktales, rewrite their legends in such a way to generate interest without being a complete <Disney's Pocahontas> about it." In addition to that, the knowledge that whatever I do, someone will hate me for it.

Combine with just a very bad day yesterday (and the stuff with the recent news...from Robin Williams to the government fucking around again...and mix that with dealing with a high lack of being able to understand where I fit into the world (leading to a sense of "I don't belong here...I'm broken...I should just disappear from everyone's lives...")

Yes, I am well aware that these feelings are immature and illogical, but I unfortunately have many days like that. How a more "public" person does it, I do not know.
