I've added "What is Life?" by Schrodinger to the stacks. It is the origin of the concept of "negative entropy" in that lifeforms expel excess entropy from their system (and other lifeforms gobble it up as energy for natural processes, and expel/excrete it for others to do the same...)

At least. that is what I understand of it so far. The work is a series based on his lecture material in a course with the central question of "How can the events in space and time which take place within the spatial boundary of a living organism be accounted for by physics and chemistry?"

The concept of Negative Entropy (like all concepts) has evolved over time, but my "skim" of it shows it is interesting, and I often feel modern texts miss important thoughts brought up in older texts, so here is a nice start on the subject. :)
