Just fast all day from food and water for 30 day's for religious reasons and you would probably get a similar experience. Actually this Ramadan has around 3 days let and then Eid happens. :) Eid is like an awesome 3 day long carnival over here at the mosques. Every night there are fireworks, fair food, games, and bouncy-houses set up at the mosque and we party.
