Not too much of an open world (Big issue with Skyrim - I was lost often on what to do, or where I was)

This. This was the main reason I couldn't get into Skyrim yet everyone treats it like it's the best game ever. And can't understand why I don't like it.
But when I DID try it, it was just. Too... older-ages and too expansive...
Just really eh.

But I see. My ideal game is a bit different from yours, then. xD
