I never played White, just Black.
The first pokemon game I've ever played. (discounting ones like pokemon snap, stadium, and the like)
It surprised me that I spent like 300 hours on it. A pokemon game, I said to myself. XD

My favorite is still the Gen 3 series, even though other people didn't really like it. I guess it's because it was my first Pokemon game.
