Well, after Spring semester ends, I'm not going to stay in Pittsburgh because of reasons, so I'll be going home for a bit and then going to WA/OR for ten weeks. Pittsburgh usually has a decent amount of summer. We just have /very/ unpredictable weather. My roomie and I went to sleep with the AC on and the window open for circulation, without blankets...and when we woke up, it was snowing.
Illinois is nice. My dad went to college in Evanston. Haven't been there ever since the "family" members we had in Evanston passed away.
Pfft. My hair's not long enough yet. Give it a few more months and tell my mom to not insist on a haircut.
Hidden caves, definitely. There was this one time my parents and I went to explore a lava cave, and there was a sign outside that read something along the lines of "Rent a gas lamp from the visitor shop", and we were all "We have flashlights, no big deal."
...And then we went in and couldn't progress more than a few dozen feet. It was SO DARK in there. Like.../pitch/ dark. Darker than any place I've ever been. I would've kept going if 1.) I hadn't been more than a bit freaked out and 2.) my parents hadn't insisted on a gas lamp. Which ended up being a good idea, anyways. Could've hurt ourselves really badly if we hadn't.
Was also this one time my class went on a field trip to Yosemite and the end-of-day challenge was to climb through a narrow cave virtually blind. No lights, no yelling. The only way we knew where to go/duck/climb was from the person in front of us. It was honestly one of the most memorable experiences I had in middle school.
...Wow, that was a fucking /essay/.
EDIT: Oops. Would you rather listen to loud or soft music while doing homework?
