The truth is that friendships on Trisphee are what keep people on Trisphee, for the most part. The majority of those leaving have either been hurt by another on Trisphee, or have very little continued contact with friends they had on Trisphee.

That is largely due to people getting older, and having less time in general.

Friendships are likely a large reason why Gaia is not up to 1/3 smaller in their population.
