Out of character, how are these missiles being guided? Thermal, provided coordinates, tracker, TV-guided, laser designation? And what type of missiles? Just regular old precision-strikes or bunker busters or what? If it is tracking by the thermal signature put off by Sin, a huge whirling fire tornado in a slightly different location could put it off target. EM-Pulse Grenade could technically do it, if it could somehow be set to go off before the missile detonated while in proximity of the missile. Which would require someone to launch this hand grenade at +700 miles an hour while attempting to 'lead' the missile(s) with whatever object they are launching from. All while deprived of all senses.
Falling blindly out of a window does sound a lot better.
Also, I'm finding it hard to figure out what to write, aside from a very extended version of "He is getting full".

They're fuel-air explosives, and right now there's just two of them coming in. And yeah, they're tracking Sin's heat signature.
Quite honestly, I'm not sure Diogenes thought this plan all the way through... Though the hounds weren't on the scene yet when he called in the strike. I don't think he'd suddenly call it off with the appearance of MORE enemies, though...
Not to mention, Kadia's sort-of preempted the explosives by already turning the room into a firestorm, so I'm not sure it actually matters. :P
