Well, the thing with that is once those nukes get fired, they lose the leverage, so it's a tricky balancing act.

Getting a vessel (or fleet of, rather) into orbit to restock it would be almost impossible with demons and whatever else prowling the skies. Not to mention, the Antichrist would be going into full def-con alert and send everything he has at it.
