Sorry to hear about that, wondering what kind of cage you had them in.

I've had something similar happen but I was able to get the dog to leave before they broke the cage... the cage was dented in 2 to 3 inches...luckily rabbits were safe

haven't been much for giving out animals when they have a litter anymore... due to something similar to your case... one of my sister's friend took one of our rabbits and it hadn't been longer than 3 weeks before we heard about his death by one of their other pets... ...

though there have been some pretty wildish rabbits I've heard about as well that were peoples pets my friend his rabbit ate a hole in his cage to escape and my uncle's friend told me once about a rabbit on his farm, which possibly thought it was a dog, it would sleep with the dogs and do whatever they did even chase cars and chickens, wish I could of seen that one
