Have you ever played a game that made you unable to continue because you forgot to by something in an rpg and you saved, and then could not fight a boss properly and win. I did that to my self on Legend of Legia. I forgot to by some phoenixes and now I am stuck at a boss fight. I was playing Rune factory frontier and took away to many Runies so now I can not grow anything. I am sure I have done this with other games but I can not think of them right now.
