i mean in a way its kinda a drug.. that just makes it so magic can't hurt them xD and they have to keep getting the stuff thus why most templars dont leave the chantry and/or don't last long outside of it ..

plus after so many years it sorta makes them lose their minds xD not hat this fact is probably told to recruits LOL
