Also Hex where did you get your information on Malamutes? Because yes they quarrel but they won't fight each other til the death unless you have 2 Alphas that won't back down or the Alpha is extremely aggressive against the Omega. Either way it is a bad situation but Malamute siblings (I have a friend who has three litter mates in his home, and they have a perfect pack hierarchy) can live together in a home successfully.
Female malamute siblings generally will not tolerate each other without training. In fact female Malamutes generally will not tolerate female dogs of any breed without good training and usually getting spayed. It is a pretty commonly known thing amough Malamute enthusiasts and we used to pull with our Husky so we were around Malamutes a LOT.
Most Malamute rescues won't even adopt out a female to a home with another female for this reason actually haha. Akali was a little female aggressive when we got her but after some intensive training and getting her spayed she calmed down.
