I'm sorry things are so rough, Pinkie. :( Can your boyfriend get government grants or at least student loans for school? That might help your money situation a lot. Student loans are a pain to pay back but it's a whole lot better than being homeless. I hope you find a job soon, and whether you do or don't, I still encourage your bf to fill out a FAFSA and get some help paying for school and living expenses.

I don't know what to tell you about your family except hang in there and I'll keep them in my prayers. I don't have any experience with family losing their health. Talk to your mom about getting your dad one of those beepers he can wear to press a button when he falls and needs help. His insurance would hopefully cover that and you wouldn't need to worry as much. If things get really bad with him and he needs somebody around to help him all the time, it might be time for him to go to an assisted living home. I know they're kinda sad places but the peace of mind knowing that he's not going to fall outside all alone again is good.
