How's about going to a club, or gym, or taking classes at a community center? I'm in that younger age bracket and don't really have a problem /yet/, so I'm not too sure if that would help.

The fact that people don't want to be friends with you because of your size is really douchebaggy.

I've also got some issues finding friends my gender, but that's not....surprising, considering my major and what I like doing around campus...
