so I'm 28 years old and I don't have any female friends, I find that I don't trust women. I'd like to try and get over this issue because I do miss having women friendships. The only woman in my life lol is my other halfs mum, who's lovely and I've adopted her as my mum and we get along great buuuuuuuuut its the whole age difference plus she doesn't want to go out much these days and I miss going out shopping, and having coffee and just girlie chitchats.

I find the people I am meeting all have their own issues, some I have met have drug issues, and worst people I do meet have children and whilst children aren't a problem it puts a strain on what you can actually talk about (I don't have children and wont be having children and quite frankly don't have much experience with children lol even though I can be childish myself haha) but that's beside the point.

It's just so freaking hard meeting people you get along with. The most people I get along with are guys!! which is fine but they don't generally want to go shopping with you or talk about your furbabies or talk make up lol let alone if its that time of the month tee hee.

So yeah I guess this is just a rant really? the girls I do meet are at the school I go to and they are soooooooo young like 17-18, I just don't feel like I can relate to them whatsoever, I chat to them in class sure but I would prefer someone my age or older. Or at least in their 20's...

I guess the other thing too is I'm self consious (kinda) I'm a plus sized gal (size 18) and whilst I carry most of the weight off well I've had experiences in the past with girls saying I'm too heavy to be their friend. So now I'm weary of talking to thin girls even though they could be quite nice.

so anyone else in my boat? my only social contacts are my other half, his brother and mother, and my friend Paul who we see once a month as he lives hours away lol so pretty much their all guys except othe rhalfs mother.
