He listened to Needren talk about everything that happened over the years. He never knew, how could he have? He had the crazy thought now that he could have done something but he knew he couldn't have. Not at that age anyway. Needren had done everything just to spare Thalion. All those years he had blamed Needren for things and now with the truth out he felt like he had done the opposite of what he should have done.
They were both quiet for a moment before Thalion finally spoke again.

"Why.. why didn't you try to get up with me sooner or something, hell you didn't have to stay there you could have left too." Maybe he couldn't... maybe he stayed behind to make sure that he was safe... He moved finally sitting next to Needren going silent for a moment again.

"all these years and i never knew... damn what was i blind.." He said shaking his head a little. "Yet now you finally found me and we're stuck in this hell instead."
