I agree, I have noticed on the net that many people are like that and to me, attention seeking grows boring very fast.. Since the person is not in your circle of friends, I would suggest just leaving them to their stories, etc cause sometimes the best way to deal with a 'woes me' person is to ignore them completely and enjoy the company of the people you want to be around.
