So, I literally just found out that there was a prequel story released for the movie. If anyone has read that, oh my god don't ruin it, I want it so bad, why don't I have money fff.

And yes, it's supposed to allude to Romeo and Juliet. It's more than just R and Julie. M, Nora, and some other guy I think, all named for characters.
