The problem with being a CIT (engineering) student is that we in general have much fewer credits/units than non-CIT people, which means if I drop a 12 unit course, I'll fall below the required number of credits to be a full-time student. And that has an effect on my tuition.

I don't even know what it'll do to my academic probation status.
