Default A Cumbersome Introduction   #1
Ah! Hello there! Please, do come in! What's that you say? It is I who is the visitor, and you who is the host? Why, I suppose you're right! Now, you may be wondering, “Who is this person? And why is he using all this exotic punctuation? Does he think himself too good for periods?” Well, the answer to your question is “No.” The last question, at least

As you may have guessed, I am the kind of guy who fancies himself clever. I'm quick to a good joke, and even quicker to a bad one. I like to consider myself as something of a scholar of the internet, exploring its vast expanses that I might show my findings to my uninterested peers. And yet, until recently, I had never even heard of an avatar website. The concept of purely textual internet role-playing was also novel to me, though I have dabbled in old-school table-top roleplaying. So I figured, why not?

I apologize if I come off as long-winded, but not enough to stop being long-winded. I go to great lengths to present the facade of a gentleman, often using more words than necessary, or even advisable, and arranging my grammar such that, while technically correct, it leaves my message unintelligible to the reasonable person. If I had an avatar that could reflect that, I would be quite thankful. I don't find begging terribly gentlemanly, so I apologize if this is a breach in etiquette. Really, if someone could just point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated, as I should have little trouble acquiring money if all I must do it say words. I am quite partial to top hats and bow ties. As a personal hero of mine once said, “Bow Ties are cool.” And I endeavor to live by those words every day of my life.

So here we are, a whole paragraph after I apologized for my lack of brevity. This seems like a prudent place to sign off. The TL;DR of this is that I like to say things that I think are funny. You're welcome to join me in thinking that.
In all likelihood, you just read a clunky wall of text. There's no need for me to make you read even more in my signature.
