Today was actually much better. We were out behind the cafeteria today, and there was hardly any wind. I got there early and picked out a nice spot that I knew would get a lot of sun once things got started.

We gave out nearly 40 tickets for the raffle, and we're drawing the winners tomorrow during the meeting. Since we have two boxes to give away, we're doing one drawing at the beginning of the meeting and then one at the end. That way those who have to leave early have a chance to win and the ones who have to get there late because of class also have a chance.

A lot of people signed up to get emails from the club, too. I also had several people tell me they're working on submissions for the Romance contest, so that's pretty exciting.

They did feed me today! We had barbecue chicken, mac and cheese, hush puppies, and baked beans. I kinda wished I'd missed this food and gotten yesterday's, though. I would much rather have had the Asian food they had yesterday.

I'm home now, though, and I don't have to go to class tonight! I just have to pick my mom up from work later and drive her to the garage so she can pick up her car.
