And I'm the opposite, I think Azrael is overused and cliche, and think Abaddon is all kinds of badass. :P


And it's not just one Rephaim, Abaddon has hundreds of them at his disposal, though they're his elite troops so he keeps most of them with him at Sinai. As for slowing them, a really power psychic probably could, though at that point, said really powerful psychic might be better off just blasting its bones apart. Rephaim don't have very good magic defenses, engaging them in melee is suicidal, but they can be taken down with sufficient force at range. And of course, a powerful enough necromancer could attack the animating soul directly....

But if you really want the top of the melee totem pole you should look at War, the Red Horseman. :P He's pretty much, by his very essence, unstoppable in battle. Best strategy against him is "Run. Far, and quickly."
