I really think that was a promo thing. You know, they send letters that tell you about how great a store is, and then attach some sort of coupon or gift card to get you to come to the store. I think that's what the card was. I don't see a store selling $1 gift cards. $5, maybe, but I've never seen one go for $1 before.
