5-6 years so far.
I'm so protective over it, I haven't lost the pen even once, and I'm a major slob. xD
And, I have to have certain specific conditions met before I can sleep. It has to be in my own room ( whenever I spent the night somewhere else, I would not sleep unless I was about to collapse ) with a fan that does not rattle or change the consistency in its hum or pitch or anything. My hearing is ridiculous, that I can hear a locust on my neighbor's tree with my headphones on inside my own house. Dx
( And that's an example; I pissed off my dad because I thought it was on the door and I asked him to flick it off lol )
So just someone walking outside my door will wake me up. It's why I never needed an alarm all through school. I'm only pissed off for 5-10 minutes after I wake up, though. xD
I've never had actual coffee in my life unless you count like 2 iced icecream-like things that had coffee IN it. >__>
