Quiet Man Cometh
We're all mad here.
Thought this came up already. Nah. Snow on the coast here is pretty minimal. I think the Pacific must be warmer than the Atlantic as well. We might get a few centimeters or inches now and then, but a big snowfall usually only happens every several years to a decade, maybe? Trying the think back. The last real blizzard I remember was 1996. I think there's been on since then but can't recall. It does get cold though, so there tends to be lots of ice.
A blizzard in Vancouver though still amounts to your average snowfall up in the northern interior. Even a little ways away from the coast and you get more snow. My sister's both do, since they are on mountains. A fair amount of the area around Vancouver (like Richmond) is at sea level.
