Nicotine Nourishment



Smoke covers me, it became my hair
This tiny spark flickering off and down where
the ashes are


I breathe you in, I feel your bitterness and warmth
I blow you out from my lips and scarred lungs

The stench of nicotine cover me, I have no qualms
Cold sweat on my palms


My daily dose of nicotine nourishment
Why do I find pleasure in every moment?


Hearts race, feet shake, smoke in the eyes
A part of me, every five minutes, dies.
