It is not a myth here, lol, obviously.
I would just think that at least wait until after Thanksgiving has passed to put up decorations, but my mom has the weird tradition of putting them up the week prior to our Thanksgiving because she wants them up as long as possible and does not want to put them up the weekend of or after Thanksgiving.
It always means I have to get up early, and this year we have a new tree so it meant more work than usual, and a lot of scary moments. xD;;

Yeah, when you almost have pnemonia you need a lot of time to recover. >>
I have never gotten the flu, fortunately enough, or strep, but I have a number of lung issues so that is what I am hit with at least once a year. xD;
I guppose it is good that you already got sick this year so that perhaps you won't soon, or will not have it as bad.
