It's perfectly normal.
The only time it WOULDN'T be acceptable here in Canada, were if they put up their Christmas decorations before November 11th.
One town put their wreaths up on the street lamps before Remembrance Day this year and people FLIPPED.
Any time after is okay though. >>

I probably won't get anything worse than a head cold.
I usually get strep throat once a year, but I already had a really bad throat infection this year so I think I'm good.
And I never get the flu. Haven't had a flu shot in...10 years?
