Once again he had been struck with a stroke of writers block, and as he stared at the screen he became oblivious to the cat that napped in his lap peacefully, and the idea that there was still a stranger in his bed eluded him. Aces stretched across his lap and broke him from his thoughts, and running a hand across her back she arched into the touch as she licked her lips before jumping free of his lap to venture out of the room with a renewed vigor from her normally lazy demeanor. Puzzled he stared at the open door before deciding to see why she had become so riled so quickly.
