Remembrance Day?
Uh....American's celebrate Veterans Day...
It's like that.
Only probably a bit more respectful because we don't make giant advertisements for stores that say ''ONLY ON REMEMBRANCE DAY, GET THIS SHIT 50% OFF!''

Anyways, it's a day to remember those that have died in the war and survived it.
On the 11th day of the 11th month at the 11th hour.
We stand around an cenotaph uptown for an hour or two and listen to the roll call of those that have died from our area.
People bring wreaths up to put at the cenotaph which are donated by companies and schools.
And at the end we put our poppies in the ground around the cenotaph.
I still need to get a poppy...ugh. We have two laying around here, but mom has them attached to a picture of my grandpa.
I go every year for my grandpa who was a veteran for WW2.
And his cousin who died in the war.
And all of my own cousins who were in the military.
