I played the demo of 8 so I can't say I actually played much of it. Still. . . anyway, my argument with Nobuo Uematsu, he did split after X, but he's done some pieces for some of the games, mostly chocobo themes from what I could tell, but he has made amazing music and does not fail when it comes to his job of making music.
