Granted, but Tokyo has become a desert, barren wasteland of corpses, dust, and nothingness. You also become contaminated with mass amounts of toxic radiation which shortens your lifespan more than trading your eyes for a Shinigami's.

Granted, but you were born near the end of World War II in Hiroshima and were the victim of the Hiroshima bombings.
