Quiet Man Cometh
We're all mad here.

If you're up for massive reading, there's a rather large thread already on Skyrim back on page 5. It would need to be resurrected but so long as something new is being added it should be alright to post in it again. There's a thread discussing Dawnguard on page 2 I believe. I want to get Dawnguard but haven't bothered yet since I haven't been playing Skyrim.
Right now my only Skyrim character is my Nord Frygga Elksdottr, if I have that right. Not sure. I've played Elder Scrolls games since Daggerfall but skipped a couple. In Daggerfall I had a khajit who I tried to replicate in Morrowind that became my archer thief type called Mirri. I have a second Khajit in Morrowind called Nigira who is the proper thief class rather than custom made like I usually do. I also have an Argonian character, She-Speaks-In-Riddles, and then another nord and a dunmer. I mainly stick with the beast races but I didn't like them as much in Skyrim so I went Nord. Frygga is much more of a straight up fighter than my other characters have been. I want to make an Imperial to play around with for the other storyline, but Skyrim won't let me layer a robe and armour like I want to! Ruins my character concept! *gripe*
My khajits both specialize in short blade but Mirri, my highest level character, can probably kill almost anything with almost anything. My Argonian uses spear because I wanted something different. In Skyrim I use light armour and two axes for my Nord, with the blacksmithing, alchemy, light armour, and axes skill trees. I've debated restoration but I seem to do well enough in it without the perks, and have stuck with only the four trees. I do use a bow a lot too. My typical fight style is to use a bow to kill enemies that I can see that I can't get too, or to soften tough enemies before charging in with both axes. I also carry around components to make healing potions and the occasional alchemy table has come in darn handy when dungeon exploring.
Oh, and I play on PC. To date I haven't managed to finish any Elder Scrolls games. I find them too much fun to play. One of these days I will get around to doing the actual quest lines. Really.
