I've been somewhat in your position but of a different situation.
I know you wouldn't want to put your parents in a bind but parents will get upset if you do not come forth and tell them what's going on.
My parents live here in Arkansas and I had moved out to Virginia to a guy I had met over the internet. We lived together for about a year, until I finally had enough of everything. I couldn't save up any money to save my life cause he would always purchase games and such ALL the damn time and would want me to pay all the bills, so out of my pay checks, I had barely 25$ left for myself.
I wanted to move out, so I attempted to only pay the bills that we needed and refused to pay for anything else. Which ended up starting a fight between us and he kicked me out of the house numerous times although we were both on the lease or I thought we were. It wasn't til I moved away from him when I realized that I never signed any paperwork, so I don't even think the apartments ever knew I was there.
Well, I put up with him for a year before one night when he kicked me out in a snowy cold night, I called my parents crying. I was scared and I didn't want them to spend money that they didn't have just to come get me, but I had no choice. It was either that or I was spending the night in the cold again.
My parents went to great lengths to gather the money just to come get me.
That was when I was 22 or 24 years old. I'm now 27 years old, living in an apartment in the same town as my parents with my husband and daughter of 3 years.
I know how it feels not to want to call your parents, but think of it this way, how pissed off will they be if you don't call?

Also, I found out later that it was my sister (who's known here as Feto) who paid for the trip.
