I've applied at fast food and gotten an interview but didn't get hired, and since I want to relocate to Washington so I can get my CNA license (since Washington pays CNA's better than Idaho which doesn't have much for jobs in the first place) and then work as a CNA for a year or two to gain experience for when I go for my LPN license. The CNA program is only 3 weeks long and the base pay is at around $12/hr to start. There isn't much room to move in the pay department but I figure if I work my butt off to get my LPN then I'll at least be able to save up extra money for land and possibly a house to put on it, whether it's a mobile/manufactured home or what have you.
